Apply To VSCO Voices

As creators, we possess the power to uncover and capture voices not heard. Use your medium as a microphone for those who don’t have their own. Today, we invite you to apply to VSCO Voices, a six-month grant program in partnership with VSCO that provides five creators with mentorship and $20,000 in funding to empower marginalized communities in the United States.

We believe in the power of helping creators spread diverse perspectives since creators are a powerful force for change. We’re thrilled to partner with VSCO to enable creators to cultivate conceptually rich and beautiful art that gives a voice to underrepresented communities and are excited to see what these creators come up with.

Designed to highlight the things that make us human and bring communities together through art

Designed to highlight the things that make us human and bring communities together through art, this year’s project theme is the universal concept of Home. As you craft your project proposal, consider how you’d explore what “home” means to a marginalized community living in the United States today. How might these definitions challenge our perspectives? How might we relate?

The team at VSCO will review all applications alongside our team at Access Ventures. When reviewing your application, we’ll be looking for project proposals that speak to this year’s theme, and that clearly convey thoughtfulness, passion, as well as continued commitment to the community described.

We’re excited to build the VSCO Voices community together. To qualify for the grant, you must be a VSCO community member (this means that you have a VSCO profile). US-based, and at least 18 years of age. The VSCO Voices application closes on March 4th at 11:59pm.

We invite you to apply! For additional information, check out our Q+A.
