In this episode, we sit down with Gabe Cooper, Founder and CEO of Virtuous, a responsive fundraising platform that helps charities increase generosity and do more good. Gabe has a true passion for creating market-defining software and helping charities reimagine generosity.
After serving in a leadership role at a large nonprofit in the early 2000s, Gabe went on to help build a series of successful products in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. In 2020, he wrote and published the book Responsive Fundraising to help nonprofits connect more personally with donors at scale. We discuss Gabe’s experience in navigating the transition from founder to CEO of a now larger company with 150+ employees and how he builds individuals and teams that make Virtuous a company to watch.
