Marathon Distressed Credit Fund is a fund specialized in investing primarily in distressed corporate credit opportunities, developing a diversified portfolio with a wide range of investments. Marathon seeks to provide capital solutions to corporate borrowers in a variety of complex distressed credit, dislocated credit, and restructuring situations.
Why
At Access Ventures, alignment with our mission is essential for any investment we make. Oftentimes supporting expert managers is the best way of gaining access to compelling investment opportunities, which is the case with Marathon. The firm was one of only eight managers selected by the U.S. Treasury during the 2008 financial market crisis to help stabilize the credit markets. Without a functioning credit market the economy stalls for everyone, therefore we see their role as a key aspect of an inclusive economy.
