The Park Celebrates One Year

One year ago Access Ventures purchased and renovated an abandoned repair shop and turned it The Park, a co-working community in Shelby Park. The Park was created to provide access to affordable workspace and a new path for workers looking for a nontraditional office environment.

It is a space for passionate people of all kinds who want to be a part of a community that inspires innovation. It is a place for change-makers. We created The Park to support people building a better world and this week we recognized the one year anniversary of this effort. There is a time to get work done and there is a time to party, yesterday was a time to party. We provided a day full of activities for our members to choose from and participate in throughout the day. Here is a little recap of what we got into as we celebrated with the members of The Park.

The Park would not exist if it wasn’t for the amazing individuals who work here: journalists, developers, designers, entrepreneurs, creatives and others of all sorts. In just one year, our membership has grown from zero to over 70! We are thankful for the opportunity to celebrate all of these individuals and the community they make up.
